Prior to joining Camber Creek, Alexandra worked in real estate private equity; her roles included acquisitions and asset management positions at several leading real estate investing and operating companies globally, including Brookfield Properties, Norges Bank, and Apollo Global Management. She has closed commercial real estate transactions and managed portfolios totaling over $10 billion in value. Alexandra began her career in real estate investment banking at Goldman Sachs. She received a BS from Duke University.
Alyce Ge is an Investor at Camber Creek and supports the firm’s deal flow, diligence, transactions, and portfolio management. Prior to Camber Creek, Alyce worked at the intersection of private markets and data at Cherre, Ten-X (now CoStar), and CB Insights. Alyce received her BS in Applied Mathematics from Columbia University.
Amanda Palmer is an Executive Assistant at Camber Creek. Prior to joining Camber Creek, Amanda was an Executive Assistant at Fluence, a global leader in energy storage products and services. She has extensive administrative experience across industries in both the private and public sectors. She received her BA in Communications from American University.
Becky Makowski is Camber Creek’s Accounting Manager. Prior to joining Camber Creek, Becky served as the Corporate Controller for Tate Engineering Systems. Previously, she was the Fund Controller for Sterling Partners and a Senior Accountant for Camden Partners, both private equity firms. In those positions Becky led a number of key finance and administrative roles, including audit, reporting, and portfolio analysis. Becky began her career as an auditor at RSM, a national audit and tax firm. She is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and received her BBA in Accounting with honors from Loyola University Maryland.
Casey Berman is the founder and Managing Partner at Camber Creek. He oversees all aspects of the organization. Casey leads the due diligence process for potential investments, makes investment decisions, and participates in the management of portfolio companies. Prior to founding Camber Creek, Casey was President of Operations for one of the Washington, DC area’s largest privately held real estate development and management companies. Casey currently serves on the boards of a number of Camber Creek portfolio companies.
Elliot Wertheimer is a Partner at Camber Creek. Prior to joining Camber Creek, Elliot spent nine years on the real estate investment team at Goldman Sachs, most recently overseeing all investment activity in the southeastern region of the United States. During his tenure at Goldman, Elliot was responsible for over $3 billion of investment activity across all asset classes and various funds. Prior to his role at Goldman, Elliot was an analyst at JP Morgan in the Global Real Assets Group. Elliot received his BA from Cornell University.
Ellison Taylor is an Investor at Camber Creek and supports the firm’s deal flow, diligence, transactions, and portfolio management. Prior to joining Camber Creek, Ellison worked in real estate private credit, facilitating the close of more than $1 billion in commercial real estate transactions. His roles included credit investments and asset management at PGIM Real Estate and Starwood Property Trust. Ellison received his undergraduate degree from Claremont McKenna College.
Gedion Haddis is an Investor at Camber Creek and supports the firm’s deal flow, diligence, transactions, and portfolio management. Prior to joining Camber Creek, Gedion spent several years as a consultant at firms including the Boston Consulting Group, Eagle Hill Consulting, and MorganFranklin. Gedion received his undergraduate degree from Towson University and his MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
Isabelle Granahan-Field is an Investor at Camber Creek and supports the firm’s deal flow, diligence, transactions, and portfolio management. Isabelle previously worked at Clarion Partners and Altus Group. She is passionate about proptech and has done internships with PGIM and RXR in their respective proptech groups. Isabelle received her MBA from the Wharton School and her undergraduate degree from Villanova.
Jake Fingert is a Managing Partner at Camber Creek. Jake coordinates all aspects of Camber Creek’s operation and portfolio management. Jake was previously a Senior Policy Advisor at the White House, appointed by President Obama and a Senior Advisor to the GSA Administrator. In both roles Jake identified new investments and managed operations for the Federal Government’s infrastructure and real estate portfolio of approximately 350 million square feet. Prior to joining the government, he was a Principal at the Boston Consulting Group. Jake currently serves on the boards of a number of Camber Creek portfolio companies.
J.P. is a Principal at Camber Creek where he leads deal flow, diligence, and transactions. J.P. also works with Camber Creek’s portfolio companies on their path to growth. Prior to joining Camber Creek, J.P. was a Senior Associate at Morpheus Ventures and held investing roles at several early-stage venture capital funds, including Hyde Park Angels and OCA Ventures. He also has prior experience at Macy’s in Corporate Venture, where he focused on building and investing in the future of brick-and-mortar retail.
Jeffrey Berman is a General Partner at Camber Creek. Jeffrey participates in all aspects of Camber Creek’s operations and portfolio management and serves on the boards of numerous Camber Creek portfolio companies. He has more than two decades of executive management experience and deeply rooted relationships in the startup, real estate, and venture capital ecosystems. Prior to Camber Creek, he was a Principal at one of the Washington, DC area’s largest privately held real estate development and management companies. Jeffrey has also been an active early-stage investor, backing more than three dozen startups, including Jackpocket, Kindbody, and Rappi.
John Shea is an Investor at Camber Creek, supporting deal flow, diligence, transactions, and portfolio management. Prior to joining Camber Creek, John worked in real estate private equity, helping close over $600 million in commercial real estate transactions. His roles included acquisitions and asset management at Credit Suisse Asset Management – Aventicum Real Estate and M7 Real Estate. John received his undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and his MBA from the Wharton School.
JR Landsman is Camber Creek’s Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Camber Creek, JR served as a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. While at PwC JR completed a tour in the National Professional Services Group. JR led large public company audits and served as a technical consultant for his clients in applying professional standards to complex transactions and topics including mergers and acquisitions, assessing the appropriateness of accounting estimates/valuations, financial forecasts, control and process design assessments, and other areas. JR graduated from Towson University, where he received his BS in Accounting. JR is a licensed CPA in Maryland.
Lionel Foster is Head of Platform at Camber Creek and supports the firm’s relationships with key constituents, including current and prospective investors, team members, and portfolio companies. Prior to joining Camber Creek, Lionel was Communications Director at the Urban-Brookings Tax Policy Center, where he focused on topics such as urban development. He also has prior work experience at the Baltimore City Department of Planning and with Merrill Lynch’s Investment Banking group. Lionel has a BA from Johns Hopkins University and a master’s degree in urban planning from the London School of Economics, where he studied as a British Marshall Scholar. He earned a JD at Georgetown Law.
Natalie Moore is an Executive Assistant at Camber Creek. Prior to joining Camber Creek, Natalie was an Executive Assistant at Revolution LLC, an early- and growth-stage venture capital firm. Previously, she was an Administrative Assistant with Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton and worked as a logistics specialist at Metrica, Inc. She received her BA from Virginia Tech.
